On the first day of my first visit to Bowra Station near Cunnamulla (July 2008) I was pleased to see Zebra Finches for the first time ever.

However, by the end of that first busy day photographing the amazing variety of bird-life that Bowra has to offer I was reduced to saying, "Blimey, enough of the Zebra Finches already", because they were everywhere.

How things can change, one year later (July 2009) we were again at Bowra but this time saw almost no Zebra Finches.
